Strong knowledge of data management, data governance, and data quality
Experience in conducting data maturity assessments, recommend action plans and turn business needs into governance requirements
Familiarity with Syniti Data Catalog
Experience with defining, implementing, and managing data governance frameworks and Operating Model, policies, and standards to ensure the quality and trustworthiness of data.
Good stakeholder management with data stewards, IT, and architects
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and Govern RACI Frameworks: Define and maintain enterprise-wide accountability models across Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians, and Governance bodies. Enable effective prioritization and execution of data initiatives through the Data Governance Council.
• Design Interaction Models: Develop and oversee standardized workflows for key governance processes such as attribute creation, updates, and lineage management. Ensure consistent stewardship practices across domains.
• Critical Data Element (CDE) Management: Lead the identification and prioritization of CDEs based on business value. Ensure alignment with metadata standards and integration of robust data quality (DQ) controls in collaboration with business and MDM teams.
• Enterprise Data Quality Framework: Shape and monitor the enterprise-wide DQ framework. Define KPIs, thresholds, and CDE-to-report linkages to support proactive quality management and enable regular reporting to leadership and business stakeholders.
• Governance Integration in Delivery Lifecycles: Embed data governance checkpoints into BRD reviews and project delivery processes. Enforce adherence to governance policies and metadata compliance in partnership with MDM and delivery teams.
• Partner with OCM and Syniti technical teams: to operationalize governance processes, activate stewardship roles, and enable sustainable DG adoption across systems and teams

Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise information architecture.
• Strong understanding of master data domains (e.g., Customer, Product, Vendor) and MDM platforms.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RACI models and stewardship frameworks.
• Expertise in metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) is a plus.
