Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Support Engineer with strong technical and analytical skills to provide production support for critical business applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, SQL, and Unix, with a solid understanding of incident management and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues within defined SLAs.

Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.

Analyze logs, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes with the development team.

Execute SQL queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting.

Manage Unix/Linux-based systems, perform file operations, and monitor background jobs.

Participate in application deployments and environment validations.

Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Core Java / J2EE.

Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).

Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.

Experience in production support, incident management, and application monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Willingness to work in night shifts and support 24x7 environments as required.
Nice to Have:

Experience in ITIL processes.

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Familiarity with automation tools or DevOps practices.
