Java Production Support GPP (NCS/Job/ 2929)

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Production Support for Java-based applications

• Banking & Payment Domain knowledge (mandatory)

• Hands-on experience with Global PAYplus (GPP)

• Oracle PL/SQL – complex queries, procedures, performance tuning

• Unix/Linux – shell scripting, job monitoring, troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of MongoDB

• Experience with Kafka for messaging/stream processing

• Familiarity with OCP (OpenShift Container Platform)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for critical banking and payment applications

• Monitor application health, batch jobs, and interfaces

• Perform incident analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution

• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams

• Support database-related issues using Oracle PL/SQL and MongoDB

• Handle deployments and support activities in OpenShift (OCP) environments

• Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and security standards

Nice to Have:

• Java debugging experience

• Exposure to ITIL processes

• Experience supporting high-availability, high-volume payment systems
