Java Developer (NCS/Job/ 2116)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Struts, JSP, Servlets, and related technologies.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to Java and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Struts 1.x or 2.x framework.
• Proficiency in JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, or other Java frameworks.
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
