Qualifications, Experience & Must-Have Skills

  • CA or equivalent degree
  • 14-16 years of relevant experience in similar roles as above
  • Workday or similar ERP system experience
  • Must have strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IFAND etc.)
  • Must have the ability to concisely communicate financial information to a broad audience including senior and non-financial colleagues
  • Must have an eye for and a comprehensive understanding of “the detail”, but hold the ability to crystallise it into a coherent message or story
  • Must be open, approachable and visible in their approach
  • Must be a process champion ensuring financial and operational controls are followed
  • Must have the ability to challenge and speak up where appropriate
  • Must be adaptable with a “can do” attitude, prepared to get involved in areas outside the normal responsibilities
  • Must be committed to learning and innovating, delivering new and interesting ways to report “the numbers”
  • Regular interaction with non-financial staff through-out the business is essential and so prior experience of working within an advertising / similar organisation is advantageous.
  • Candidates should be enthusiastic and willing to learn and grow
  • Candidate should be kept aware of the periodic amendments in the statutory requirements related to the organization
  • Candidate should be aware of the latest trends and best practices in the market
