Job Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data platform team and help build reliable, scalable data pipelines that power our analytics and reporting capabilities. You will work with Snowflake as the core data warehouse and collaborate with analysts and engineers to deliver high-quality data products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▸          Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines from diverse source systems into Snowflake.

▸          Write clean, well-documented SQL and participate in data modeling for analytical use cases.

▸          Build and maintain data transformation jobs.

▸          Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA compliance.

▸          Implement data quality checks and validation routines to ensure accuracy and reliability.

▸          Collaborate with Data Analysts and BI Engineers to understand requirements and deliver data models.

▸          Support the implementation of Snowflake best practices: schema design, access control, and performance tuning.

▸          Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional engineering discussions.

▸          Document data flows, transformation logic, and data dictionaries.

▸          Assist in onboarding new data sources and maintaining data lineage documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

✓           2–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.

✓           Proficiency with Snowflake: loading data, writing queries, basic schema design, and understanding virtual warehouses.

✓           Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, window functions.

✓           Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts: star schema, fact/dimension tables, and normalization principles.

✓           Experience with at least one ELT/ETL orchestration tool (e.g. IICS).

✓           Working knowledge of Python for data processing tasks and scripting.

✓           Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and object storage (e.g. S3).

✓           Strong analytical mindset and attention to data accuracy.

✓           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
