Job Description – Senior Software Developer

The Security suite delivers comprehensive network visibility, intelligence, and policy enforcement. Our portfolio includes next-generation firewall services for on-premises deployments, cloud environments, and as-a-service offerings.

Juniper Security Director Cloud and its on-premises counterpart provide advanced security management and visibility to customers worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of Security Director Cloud and the on-premises solution.

Requirements

• BE in Computer Science from a reputed engineering college
• Around 6–8 years of experience in cloud platforms, services, or product companies
• Proficiency with Golang and Java
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency working with one or more infrastructure components such as:
  • ElasticSearch
  • Cassandra
  • RabbitMQ
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
• Experience in deploying and debugging on AWS
• Experience in Networking domain would be an added advantage
• Experience in Agile development with CI/CD based software development
• Excellent team player with strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with a team of strong and passionate engineers and will play a critical role in:

• Designing and developing features and solutions for both SaaS and next-generation on-prem solutions
• Working with technical leaders, UX teams, and cross-functional teams to understand business goals and convert them into functionality for end users
• Hands-on work in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions
