Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end solution design for SAP Central Invoice Management across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable processes.
2. Define global invoice processing models (PO, Non-PO, Service, Freight, Credit Notes).
3. Design exception handling, tolerance rules, tax handling, and compliance workflows.
4. Own integration architecture with
a. SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI, MM)
b. SAP Ariba (Buying, Invoicing)
c. OCR (SAP Document AI) & capture solutions (OpenText, VIM, third-party OCR)
d. E-invoicing & statutory compliance systems (India GST, global mandates)
5. Act as functional lead during blueprinting, realization, and rollout phases.
6. Drive process standardization vs localization decisions for global rollouts.
7. Configure SAP CIM including:
a. Invoice types & processing scenarios
b. Workflow rules and approval matrices
c. Tolerance & validation rules
d. Posting logic and account determination
8. Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare.
9. Engage with Finance Heads, AP Managers, Procurement Leaders, and IT stakeholders.
10. Translate business pain points into solution roadmaps and value realization metrics.
11. Support pre-sales, solution demos, RFP responses, and estimations when required.
Requirements:
1. 10+ years of SAP experience in Finance / Accounts Payable / Invoice Processing.
2. Strong hands-on experience with:
a. SAP Central Invoice Management
b. SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI, MM integration)
3. Deep understanding of
a. 2-way / 3-way matching
b. PO & non-PO invoices
c. Freight & logistics invoice handling
d. Accruals, GR/IR, and tax scenarios
4. Experience integrating CIM with SAP Ariba Invoicing
5. Familiarity with IDocs, APIs, and middleware (SAP CPI preferred).
6. Strong knowledge of global AP compliance and statutory requirements.
7. Experience with India GST e-invoicing and multi-country tax scenarios is a plus.
8. Understanding of audit, controls, and SOX-compliant invoice processes.
9. Proven experience in leading enterprise SAP implementations.
10. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
11. Ability to create functional design documents, solution blueprints, and process flows.
12. Experience working in global, multi-vendor delivery models.
13. Experience with SAP OpenText VIM or similar invoice management add-ons is nice to have
