Job Description
- Lead full-lifecycle implementations of Oracle EBS (R12.1.x) or Cloud Projects (PPM), including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Capital Asset Management, Revenue Recognition, and Grants/Time Labor integrations.
- Serve as the primary functional SME, conducting FIT/GAP analysis, solution design workshops, configuration, testing (unit, system, UAT), and production rollout.
- Coordinate with Finance (GL, AP, AR), Procurement (PO), Fixed Assets, and subledger accounting to ensure tight integration.
- Develop and review functional design documents, RICEFW specs, test scripts, data conversion plans, training materials, user manuals, and system documentation.
- Provide post-go-live support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, system stabilization, and user training.
- Partner with technical teams to build custom interfaces, reports, BI analytics and handle data migrations.
- Required Skills 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Project Accounting, ideally in both EBS R12 and/or Cloud Projects (PPM).
- Strong background with Oracle EBS R12 (12.1.x+) on modules like Project Costing, Billing, Contracts, Contract Projects, and integrations.
- Deep functional expertise in project costing, billing, contracts, asset capitalization, and cost allocation mechanisms.
- Ability to perform detailed FIT/GAP analysis, create functional design documents, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for production support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to lead workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile, and managing deliverables across phases.
- Analytical aptitude for financial reporting, budget control, and variance analysis.
