ETL Testing (NCS/Job/ 2492)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity across systems, and automating ETL test cases to improve efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

• Analyze source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and data flow.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for ETL workflows.

• Identify data discrepancies, defects, and performance bottlenecks across environments.

• Work closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy.

• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.

• Validate large data sets using SQL queries and automation frameworks.

• Provide detailed defect analysis and participate in root cause discussions.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing.

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, etc.).

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing.

• Experience in test automation (using Selenium, Python, Java, or any ETL automation framework).

• Knowledge of data validation frameworks or custom automation solutions for ETL testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, or Git for automation integration.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
