DCP Role (NCS/Job/ 1971)

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Data Protection Officer to ensure our organization complies with data protection laws such as GDPR and other applicable regulations. The DPO will lead our data privacy strategy, conduct audits, and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures

• Monitor internal compliance and conduct regular audits

• Advise on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

• Serve as the point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities

• Train staff on data protection best practices

• Stay updated on evolving data protection laws and ensure organizational alignment

• Investigate and respond to data breaches and incidents

• Promote a culture of privacy and data ethics across departments

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field

• Certification in Data Protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent) preferred

• Proven experience in data protection, compliance, or legal advisory roles

• Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
