Mandatory Skills for DB2 Administrator (L2/L3)

• Strong hands-on experience in IBM DB2 LUW / DB2 z/OS
• DB2 installation, configuration, and patching
• Backup & Recovery (Image Copy, Restore, Rollforward)
• Performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with DB2 utilities: REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD
• Strong SQL and database design knowledge
• Database administration: monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting
• Experience in production support and deployment activities
• Database security: user roles and access management
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Incident, Problem, and Change Management exposure (ITIL)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery)
• Q Replication / CDC
• Shell scripting / REXX automation
• Monitoring tools such as OEM or Tivoli
• Exposure to Oracle or SQL Server
