Database Administrator (DBA)

Must have knowledge of core concepts of enterprise database systems management and implement same to generate various reports. Planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of database environments in both development and production settings. Experience in backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning, security management, and real-time monitoring for Production environment. This role offers exposure to various database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL). Databases support application ecosystems in large-scale enterprise and mission-critical environments. Have a role of Data Analysis and problem solving in operation. Support to Product developer by analysis log and monitoring which helps to bug fixes by the developer.

Database architecture, administration and documentation while working with teams responsible for data availability, integrity, and scalability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Database installation, configuration, and upgrades (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

• Log Monitoring/Analyst, Troubleshooting, system monitoring

• Support daily monitoring of database performance and system health

• Participate in data backup and restore operations as per defined policies

• Help implement database security measures including user roles, privileges, and auditing

• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to query performance, deadlocks, and blocking sessions

• Support patch management and maintenance activities

• Maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support integration and performance testing

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic understanding of RDBMS concepts (tables, indexes, joins, normalization, transactions)

• Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting

• Knowledge of database utilities and tools for Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Automation & Scripting: Shell Scripting, PowerShell, CI/CD Scripting, Infrastructure Automation

• Eagerness to learn database internals, architecture, and security

• Good communication and team collaboration skills
