Calypso (NCS/Job/ 1956)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Calypso-based solutions for financial institutions. The role requires strong knowledge of Calypso platform, Java development, and capital markets (Front-to-Back office processes).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Calypso customizations (interfaces, workflows, reports, and business logic).

• Integrate Calypso with external systems using APIs, MQ, and other middleware technologies.

• Develop Java-based enhancements for Calypso modules.

• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and production support for Calypso applications.

• Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and end users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Participate in upgrade projects, configuration, and environment setup for Calypso.

• Implement risk, PnL, and trade lifecycle functionalities as per business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Calypso platform knowledge (version 14+ preferred).

• Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development (Core Java, Multi-threading, Collections).

• Experience in Calypso customizations – Trade Workflow, Messaging, Scheduled Tasks, Event Handlers, Report Writing, etc.

• Knowledge of Capital Markets, derivatives, fixed income, FX, and trade lifecycle management.

• Good understanding of Front-to-Back office processes (trade capture, risk, settlement).

• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle/DB2 databases, and performance tuning.

• Experience with Unix/Linux, Shell scripting.

• Knowledge of messaging systems (JMS, MQ) and integration frameworks.
