Job Description
1. Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for revenue generation and market expansion.
2. Developing and executing strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
3. Building and maintaining solid relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
4. Conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
5. Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies and achieve business goals.
6. Lead and participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and contracts.
7. Negotiating and closing deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
8. Monitoring and reporting on business development activities, performance metrics, and key outcomes to senior management.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the Source to Pay space.
10. Provide insights and recommendations for product enhancements and new feature development based on market feedback and customer requirements.
11. Achieve assigned sales targets and business development goals within the designated timeframe.
12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM systems.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
2. 2-6 years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the Source to Pay or procurement industry.
3. Good knowledge and understanding of Source to Pay processes
4. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and generating new business opportunities.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior executives and key stakeholders.
6. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities to secure partnerships and contracts.
7. Proactive and self-motivated individual with a results-oriented mindset.
8. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive strategic decisions.
9. Proven experience in B2B sales and strategic partnerships.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
11. Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business development tools.
