What You Will Do:

The Senior Specialist – Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) will serve as an individual contributor within the Data Assets & Digital Products team, supporting global Master Data Management and Digital Transformation initiatives. This role focuses on Business Partner governance, including vendor and customer harmonization, enrichment, cleansing, deactivation strategies, and continuous improvement of BP data models, workflows, and data quality across enterprise platforms.

You will design and manage data workflows, as well as drive robust data quality and compliance with internal and external data regulations, policies, and procedures (GXP, SOX, PII). Your work will play a key role in supporting the organisation and Digital Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and maintain Business Partner data models, workflows, and templates.

· In-depth understanding of vendor and customer lifecycle management, including creation, enrichment, harmonization, and deactivation

· Experience driving vendor harmonization and consolidation across geographies

· Proven exposure to vendor/customer enrichment and data quality improvement initiatives

· Strong knowledge of BP governance workflows and validations

· Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data platforms

· Strong proficiency in SQL and Python

· Solid understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA BP tables, roles, and attributes

· Exposure to MDG or other Master Data Governance tools (preferred)

· Familiarity with JIRA / DevOps tools and Confluence

· Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent collaboration and communication skills

· Coordinate testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

· Monitor, analyse and communicate data quality, identify gaps, and make recommendations to improve data quality.

· Engage with business partners on tactical execution; serve as a key point of contact to functional partners, providing appropriate guidance on topics relating to Master Data and processes.

· Facilitate continuous improvement of existing data design, process, and templates to deliver better business outcomes.

· Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department

 

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· 6 to 8 years of overall professional experience

· 4+ years of experience in Master data management on large ERP platforms ex: MDG.

· Strong understanding of Vendor and Customer master data domains

· Strong understanding of Material Master data and cross-functional dependencies

· Hands-on experience with vendor/customer harmonization, enrichment, cleansing, and deactivation

· Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance requirements (e.g., GXP, SOX, PII)

· Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA

· Strong analytical skills with SQL and Python

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

 

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

· Experience working on global ERP implementations or transformations.

· Exposure to Databricks, Power BI, or similar data platforms and visualization tools

· Familiarity with JIRA / DevOps tools and Confluence
