AWS DevOps Engineer (NCS/Job/ 2620)

We are seeking an experienced AWS & DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Deployment (AWS):

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures.
  • Manage provisioning and configuration of AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

• Database Design & Management:

  • Configure and optimize relational and NoSQL databases in cloud environments.
  • Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

• DevOps & CI/CD:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate deployments and streamline release processes.

• Application Security:

  • Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and compliance standards.

• Web Architecture & Design:

  • Collaborate with development teams to design robust, scalable web architectures.

• Agile & SDLC:

  • Work within Agile frameworks to deliver iterative improvements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release management.

• Observability & Monitoring:

  • Set up monitoring and alerting using Grafana, CloudWatch, and other observability tools.
  • Ensure proactive performance tuning and incident response.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform (or CloudFormation).
  • Automate environment provisioning and configuration management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Knowledge of application security principles and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

Nice-to-Have:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
