AEM Sr. Backend Developer  (NCS/Job/ 3093)

• Overall experience of 5-7 years with 4-6 years of AEM including AEM 5.6/6.1/6.2/6.3/6.4/6.5 development.
• Design and development of complex use-cases (dynamic components, core component extensions, API integrations etc).
• Strong hands on experience of Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing and publishing, Tagging,  Deployment(Maven).
• Significant hands-on design experience with AEM and very strong concepts of OSGi, Apache Sling & SIGHTLY.
• Understands and implements the Quality Properties of the system in every day work including Accessibility, SEO, URL management, and Security, Performance and Responsive development.
• Understanding and Implementation knowledge of Quality Processes for projects like Continuous Integration (Bamboo/Jenkins), SonarQube, Code reviews (Manual and automated), code Formatters etc.
• Hands-on experience of frontend technologies like Bootstrap, Backbone.js, React, Angular, CSS3, HTML 5 and jQuery.
• Good hands-on of core web and Java technologies including Java 7/8, JEE, XML, XHTML, client/server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using Restful implementations.
• Good understanding of AEM capabilities including Multi-site manager, Live Copy, Blueprint and core components extensions.
• Hands-on experience of Dispatcher Configuration and URL re-write using Apache httpd modules.
• Proficient knowledge of the end to end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes.

Responsibility

• Responsible for – Design, Coding and Development of use-cases, unit testing of AEM components and deployment to different environments.
• Interaction with client, IT and Business team.
• Mentoring junior team members.
