Role Summary
We are hiring a Senior Program Manager Expert (Data & AI) to lead large-scale, enterprise Data & AI programs for a global Infrastructure Client. This is a client-facing Professional Services delivery leadership role focused on program governance, delivery assurance, financial management, and executive stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong technical fluency across Data & AI domains but does not involve hands-on technical execution.
This position operates as a Senior Program / Delivery Leader with no direct people management responsibility, relying on influence-based leadership, mentorship, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Program Manager will provide end-to-end program leadership for complex, high-risk Data & AI engagements delivered across global, multi-vendor environments.
Programs span Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Big Data Platforms, BI & Visualization, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, MLOps, IoT, Edge Analytics, and iVaaS.
The role plays a critical part in pre-sales and SOW shaping, acting as the senior delivery authority during solution reviews. Responsibilities include delivery model validation, effort estimation, risk identification, dependency management, and SOW feasibility assessment prior to contract sign-off.
From a commercial perspective, the role owns program-level financial governance, including revenue and margin management, forecasting, utilization tracking, scope control, and change management. The Senior Program Manager ensures strong financial discipline while maintaining delivery quality and client satisfaction.
The role requires extensive external stakeholder management, including C-level and executive client engagement. The Senior Program Manager leads governance forums, steering committees, and executive reviews, clearly articulating AI-driven business outcomes, value realization, and delivery progress.
A key expectation is mentorship and influence-based leadership. The role mentors Program Managers, Project Managers, and Delivery Leads, establishes delivery standards, governance frameworks, and best practices, and drives consistency across engagements without formal reporting authority.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Professional Services / Consulting / System Integration delivery background
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Data & AI programs
- Strong client-facing and executive stakeholder management experience
- Active involvement in pre-sales, solution reviews, and SOW shaping
- Ability to guide technical teams through understanding and governance, not hands-on delivery
