Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer / Consultant

Job Description

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud across Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Content Builder, and Mobile Studio.
• Strong experience in implementing SMS and Mobile Push from scratch, including setup, integrations, data flow, and compliance.
• Proficient in AMPscript and Personalization Studio for building dynamic, personalized content and experiences.
• Strong experience with Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) for automation, data processing, and custom logic.
• Good hands-on experience with SQL and Data Extensions for segmentation and data management.
• Experience in building complex Journeys and Automations.
• Experience in integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS for email templates and content customization.
• Experience with transactional messaging and real-time triggers.
• Good understanding of email, SMS, and push compliance and deliverability best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes, and provide effective solutions.
• Experience in testing and validating campaigns before production (QA mindset).
• Ability to work closely with business and marketing teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Exposure to solution design and end-to-end platform thinking is expected.
• Experience in handling large datasets and performance optimization in SFMC.
• Ability to document technical solutions and follow best practices for maintainability.
• Experience working in Agile / sprint-based delivery environments is a plus. Shape Good to Have
• QA or SFMC testing background
• SFMC certifications (Developer / Consultant / Email Specialist)
