Job description

Overview

We are looking for an engineer who can support and enhance services built on .net and Azure. The role focuses on stability, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and coordination across teams. You will handle production issues, resolve defects, and contribute to service reliability for a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for production services built with C Sharp and restful services, identify issues, and deliver timely fixes.
• Monitor Azure based applications, analyze logs, and perform root cause investigation.
• Work with Azure Cloud Services including app services, storage, service bus, functions, and related components.
• Support integration flows across internal and external systems, identify failures, and resolve them.
• Review code and configuration, identify defects, and apply corrective actions.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and platform teams to ensure smooth service operation.
• Maintain compliance with BFS regulations and internal security guidelines.
• Prepare technical updates and maintain documentation.
• Participate in on call support rotations when required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with Dotnet, C Sharp, and restful service development and support.
• Hands on experience with Azure Cloud Services and related monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of integration concepts and debugging methods.
• Strong SQL Server skills including queries and troubleshooting.
• Background in BFS or experience working in regulated environments.
• Ability to work through complex production issues and collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Clear communication skills and an analytical mindset.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with CI CD practices.
• Experience with tools used for logging, alerting, and performance tracking in Azure.
