Data Engineer (Klo Job No 125)

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing analytics and data team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Python, ETL processes, and Databricks, and will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Implement efficient ETL workflows for data integration from multiple sources.
• Write clean, scalable, and optimized Python scripts for data transformation and automation.
• Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and cloud architects to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Optimize existing data solutions for better performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data-related tasks.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
