Ansible Engineer (Klo Job No 119)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation workflows that streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Ansible, Linux systems administration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for configuration management and automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, and system configuration across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Development teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimize Ansible Tower / AWX for centralized automation execution.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with Ansible for seamless deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automation workflows and playbooks.
• Ensure all automation follows security, compliance, and version control best practices.
• Document automation standards, runbooks, and reusable templates for team use.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure automation or configuration management.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible (Playbooks, Roles, Templates, Variables, Inventories).
• Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX for orchestration and job management.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience automating infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
