Karyarth is seeking a highly target-driven Volume Hiring Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team of a Leading Consumer Tech/Internet Company in Chennai. This is a critical Individual Contributor role for a seasoned professional with proven expertise in closing high-volume, frontline roles across the Southern region.


Job Summary: 

Designation: Volume Hiring Recruiter (Individual Contributor)
Industry Segment: Consumer Tech / E-commerce / Matrimony / BFSI
Location: Chennai (Work From Office)
Compensation (Max): Up to ₹8 LPA
Work Days: Monday to Saturday
Experience: 2–6 years (Mandatory Bulk Hiring)
Mandatory Skill: Fluency in the local language (Tamil) is essential.
Hiring Focus: Sales, Telesales, Customer Service, Field Roles (50+ roles/month)

About the Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a recruiter who can efficiently manage large-scale hiring drives for frontline and service roles. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, ensuring timely fulfillment for critical business functions across Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and more.

  • Bulk Hiring Targets: Must have a proven track record of handling and closing 50+ volume roles per month.

  • Sourcing Strategy: Build and execute strong sourcing pipelines using high-volume walk-ins, job portals, social media, and referrals. Understanding of reliable sourcing channels is crucial.

  • Screening & Quality: Screen and shortlist candidates effectively based on job fit, role readiness, and mandatory fluency in the local language (Tamil).

  • Interview Logistics: Coordinate and manage high-volume interview drives (2 rounds physical walk-in) and the final virtual round.

  • Offer & Join Conversion: Aggressively drive offer and joining follow-ups to minimize dropouts and ensure timely onboarding of Immediate Joiners.

  • Tool & Reporting: Utilize recruitment tools/ATS (e.g., Zappyhire, Naukri RMS) and Excel/Google Sheets for accurate daily tracking and reporting.


Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2–6 years of experience in volume/bulk hiring (telesales, BPO, operations). Experience in consumer tech, BPO, BFSI, or telecom sectors is an added advantage.

  • Skills: High sense of ownership, strong target orientation, excellent communication, and ability to manage multi-region hiring drives.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).

  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (Work from Office).

Hiring Process
