Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Director to lead sales growth, market expansion, and channel development for innovative technology-driven products and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performing sales teams, strengthening distributor and partner networks, and driving revenue across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and business growth targets.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales teams to ensure strong performance and target achievement.

  • Identify, onboard, and expand distributor networks, retail partners, and channel sales opportunities.

  • Drive product visibility, branding, and market penetration across retail and partner locations.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.

  • Monitor sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.

  • Lead negotiations and closure of high-value business opportunities and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns, branding initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to refine business strategies.

  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and business growth plans for leadership review.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing high-performing sales teams.

  • Experience in consumer electronics, IoT products, consumer durables, or related industries is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of channel sales, distribution management, and market expansion strategies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools.

  • Fluency in English and regional language preferred.

  • Willingness to travel for business development and partner engagement.

  • Strong knowledge of the Chennai and Pondicherry market landscape.
