Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Backend Development
Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and modern engineering practices.
Distributed Systems Engineering
Build and maintain highly available distributed systems with strong focus on scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture
Develop microservices and event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging technologies.
API Development
Design and build secure, high-throughput REST APIs and service contracts for enterprise platforms.
Database Management
Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL systems, and optimize data models for performance.
Cloud & Containerization
Contribute to cloud-native application development using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP along with Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD & Deployment
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, testing practices, and release management processes.
Observability & Monitoring
Implement logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and alerting mechanisms to ensure production readiness.
Performance Optimization
Optimize system latency, throughput, and resource utilization for high-performance applications.
AI & Automation Exposure
Leverage AI coding assistants and support integration of AI-enabled or automation-driven backend components where applicable.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, architectural decisions, and mentor team members to drive engineering excellence.
