Job Title: Academic Counsellor – International Sales 

Position: Full-Time
Location: Bengaluru  (Work From Office / Hybrid depending on batch)
Shift: Night Shift (10 PM – 7 AM IST for US, 12 PM – 2 AM IST for ROW)
CTC: Up to ₹8 LPA (US WFO), ₹7 LPA (ROW WFO), ₹6 LPA (ROW WFH)
Joining: Immediate only

Role Overview The Academic Counsellor – International Sales role is responsible for driving revenue through proactive counselling of leads, maintaining client relationships, and managing the full sales lifecycle. The role demands strong communication, night-shift readiness, and the ability to follow structured training and certification processes.

This is a high-performance, target-driven role with emphasis on quality, stability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound leads through calls, video calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email

  • Counsel leads on programs, courses, and unique selling points (USPs) of the offerings

  • Maintain accurate records and client information in CRM systems

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement growth strategies

  • Achieve weekly and monthly revenue/conversion targets

  • Go-live on video calls with parents/students as per batch allocation

  • Follow all process guidelines including WFO/WFH rules, attendance, and shift adherence

  • Escalate and resolve any client or operational issues promptly

Candidate Profile & Mandatory Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  • Experience: Lateral hire with experience in B2C sales / education / lead conversion roles

  • Technical & Process Skills: CRM handling, MS Office proficiency, video call counselling experience

  • Age Limit: 34–36 years max

  • Shift Readiness: Must accept night shifts and 6-day work week

  • Stability: Strong career stability; avoid frequent job-hoppers

  • Performance: Must have handled targets, achieved KPIs, managed lead volumes, and reasonable ticket size.

Training & Certification Process

  • Classroom Training: 5–7 days mandatory

  • Mock Certification: Pass required to proceed

  • OJT / Buddy Shadowing: 21–24 days, followed by 10-day observation before go-live

  • Attendance: Mandatory; dropouts are not reconsidered

Salary & Hike Guidelines

  • ROW – WFO: ₹7 LPA max

  • ROW – WFH: ₹6 LPA max

  • US – WFO: ₹8 LPA (based on last drawn CTC)

  • Hike policy: 10–15% typical, max 20%, no exceptions
