Summary

We are looking for a System Architect (SA) who can create overall system architecture and design based on

requirements from customers, primarily in the Defence industry. An ideal candidate should have rich

experience and broad knowledge in all aspects of system design including hardware, software, FPGA logic,

mechanical design, integration and qualification testing. He/She should quickly grasp customer requirements

and convert them into robust, reliable and cost-effective system architecture solutions. In addition to this, the

SA should be able to provide technical support and guidance to the project teams in implementing the created

architecture

 

Key Responsibilities

 Understand and clarify customer requirements

 Gather technical data required to create system architecture and design

 Design the system and create technical proposals by considering the optimal architecture 

 Support business development team in creating the commercial proposal.

 Attend meetings with customers along with business development and sales teams.

 Support project team in creating the detailed design based on chosen architecture

 Review the design output from the project team

 Support project teams in solving technical issues and provide inputs for debugging

 Create and maintain organization level technical guidelines and standards.

 

Must Have Skills

 Significant experience in Systems Architecture within any industry vertical

 Good understanding of system standards like VME/VPX/CPCI/AMC/XMC

 Good technical knowledge on electronic/ embedded systems architecture

 Excellent technical background on electronics and circuit board designs

 Good technical background on FPGA/RTL design and process flow

 Basic understanding of software architecture in embedded/ computing systems

 Excellent understanding and hand-on experience in qualifying and delivering complex and reliable

products in any industry

 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

 Good communication and presentation skills

 Strong ability to work collaboratively

 

Good to have skills

 Significant experience in creating system architecture for defence systems

 Hands-on experience in design and development of complex digital/ analog/ RF electronic circuits

 Hands-on experience in complex multilayer PCB design

 Hands-on experience in FPGA RTL Development

 Hands-on experience in qualification testing on Environmental/ EMI-EMC based on MIL standards

 Experience in working with services industry serving defence industry

 

Qualification

12 to 18 years’ experience

B-Tech/ M-Tech/ MSc in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Science
