Role Overview:
The HR Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This role involves overseeing HR processes, implementing policies and procedures, managing HR systems, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
● Define and implement KPI and KRA frameworks across departments.
● Monitor employee performance and support managers with evaluation tools.
Payroll & Compliance:
● Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
● Maintain compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and statutory filings.
● Liaise with external consultants or auditors for HR compliance matters.
HR Operations:
● Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
● Maintain HRMS and employee records accurately.
● Handle attendance, leave management, and employee database maintenance.
● Ensure smooth execution of HR policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
● Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
● Act as a point of contact for grievance handling and conflict resolution.
Talent & Organization Development:
● Support talent acquisition and workforce planning.
● Assist in designing training and development programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR Management or related field.
● 10-12 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
● Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HR best practices.
● Proven experience in setting KPI/KRA frameworks.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
