We are building a skilled offshore team that will be responsible for both the maintenance of existing internal automation systems and the development of next-generation AI-augmented workflow solutions. The Senior Developer will play a critical foundational role—acting as the technical lead, architect, and initial executor for both current support and future innovations.

This is a high-impact role that requires an autonomous, experienced developer who can collaborate with leadership, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and help build the offshore delivery capability from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

System Ownership & Maintenance
- Take full ownership of internal tools and services built using:
  - Azure Functions (PowerShell)
  - ASP.NET Core (C#) with Entity Framework
  - PostgreSQL
  - PowerApps (for existing frontends)
Workflow & Tool Development
- Design, build, and deploy scalable backend services and automation workflows to support evolving business operations.
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven enhancements, including LLM integrations (e.g., Azure OpenAI/GPT APIs).
- Drive the development of new orchestration platforms that intelligently coordinate internal processes.
Architecture & Strategy
- Provide architectural direction for scalable and modular backend systems.
- Lead the evolution of the internal automation framework for extensibility and long-term viability.
- Recommend improvements in tooling, technology stacks, or architecture as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand process gaps.
- Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.
Team Growth & Mentorship
- Onboard and mentor a second developer (and future team members).
- Establish team norms and technical excellence for offshore delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on backend automation and cloud-native services.
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Functions (PowerShell, Node.js, Python, or C#)
- ASP.NET Core (C#) and Entity Framework
- PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS)
- RESTful APIs (design and integration)
Demonstrated ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to build business-aligned tools.
Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., GPT APIs, Azure Cognitive Services) into software solutions.
Proven ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and handle delivery without close supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Familiarity with workflow automation platforms or orchestration engines.
Experience evaluating and introducing modern front-end technologies (e.g., ReactJS).
Strong communication skills; able to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
