Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and people-centric HR professional to manage and strengthen our human resources function in a mission-driven prosthetic and orthotic organization. This role will support a diverse workforce including clinicians, technicians, field staff, and corporate teams, ensuring a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across clinical (prosthetists/orthotists), technical (fabrication teams), and corporate functions
  • Develop hiring strategies for hard-to-fill roles in healthcare and manufacturing
  • Coordinate with department heads to forecast hiring needs
  • Build partnerships with institutes and training centers for talent pipelines

2. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee onboarding and induction programs tailored to different roles (clinical, shop-floor, corporate)
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Manage probation reviews, confirmations, and exit processes

3. Performance Management

  • Drive performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes
  • Support managers in conducting structured feedback and development conversations
  • Analyze performance data to identify training and development needs

4. Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps, especially in technical fabrication and clinical service delivery
  • Organize training programs, workshops, and external certifications
  • Support continuous learning initiatives for both technical and soft skills

 

5. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Design and implement engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing concerns proactively
  • Foster a culture aligned with the organization’s mission of improving lives

6. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies
  • Manage payroll coordination, leave tracking, and attendance systems
  • Draft and update HR policies and employee handbooks
  • Maintain Health insurance tracking and support employee avail services and handle any grievances

7. Diversity, Inclusion & Sensitization

  • Promote inclusive hiring practices, including employment of persons with disabilities
  • Conduct sensitization sessions for teams working closely with patients and para-athletes
  • Support initiatives aligned with accessibility and social impact

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–7 years of HR experience (experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or social sector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Experience managing diverse teams (blue-collar + white-collar workforce is a plus)
