Job Title - Finance & Accounts Manager
Location – Bangalore
Working window: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Saturday)
Role Summary
The Finance & Accounts Manager will oversee all financial, accounting, and statutory functions of the prosthetic and orthotic organization. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, cost control, and financial planning to support clinical operations, manufacturing, and patient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and reporting to management
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts for clinics and projects
- Track and analyze variances between budgeted and actual expenses
- Monitor product costing (prosthetic & orthotic devices, materials, fabrication costs)
- Support pricing strategies for devices and services
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax
- Handle GST filings, reconciliations, and audits
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits
- Ensure compliance with healthcare-related financial regulations and documentation
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee vendor payments, purchase accounting, and expense approvals
- Manage patient billing, insurance claims, grants, and institutional receivables
- Track outstanding receivables and improve cash flow cycles
- Reconcile patient, vendor, and inventory-related accounts
Payroll & Employee Expenses
- Manage payroll processing, reimbursements, and statutory deductions
- Ensure accurate recording of staff incentives, allowances, and benefits
- Coordinate with HR for employee cost planning and compliance
Inventory & Asset Management
- Monitor inventory accounting for prosthetic and orthotic components
- Track capital assets, depreciation, and asset utilization
- Support audits of inventory and fixed assets across clinics/workshops
Financial Controls & Process Improvement
- Establish internal controls and financial SOPs
- Improve efficiency of accounting and reporting processes
- Support digitalization of finance systems and ERP/accounting software
- Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with strong experience
Experience
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, or service organizations preferred
- Exposure to multi-location operations is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting and taxation laws
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work closely with clinical, operations, and procurement teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
