Job Profile -
The Therapy Manager for the at Leading pharma company is responsible for driving sales and market share growth for the company's vaccine portfolio. This strategic role involves managing relationships with key hospital accounts and government healthcare programs, executing promotional activities, and providing market intelligence to the sales and marketing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Account management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, including large hospital networks, government agencies, and other major healthcare providers.
- Sales and target achievement: Drive sales volume, growth, and market share for assigned vaccine products within the designated territory. Track progress against targets and implement corrective actions for shortfalls.
- Market development: Identify and develop new key accounts to expand the company's market presence. Understand customer needs and market trends to devise effective solutions.
- Promotion and execution: Plan, orchestrate, and execute scientific and promotional activities, such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) and other scientific meetings, in collaboration with the marketing and medical departments.
- Relationship building: Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals to promote products and strengthen the brand image.
- Reporting and analysis: Provide timely and accurate reporting on customer engagement and market activities using Veeva CRM and other company systems. Monitor competitor activity and physician prescription trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and the company's code of conduct.
Required skills and qualifications
- Educational background: A Bachelor's degree in science, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in pharmaceutical sales, with a track record of strong performance in key account management. Experience in a relevant therapeutic area, such as vaccines, is highly desirable.
- Technical skills: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and product knowledge. Proficiency in CRM systems like Veeva is a plus.
- Behavioral skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must be a proactive leader, collaborator, and strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
