Strong understanding of local customs, healthcare practices, and rural patient needs

Proven success as SLM/FLM of continually surpassing sales targets

Strong local engagement, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of rural healthcare dynamics

Prior exposure & familiarity with relevant HQ as SLM/FLM and adjacent regions/areas is preferred

Strong foundation in sales operations with a proven track record in direct sales

Expertise in managing stockists, distributor and frontline sales team

Demonstrated skills in Rx detailing, selling and merchandising

Good computer literacy and efficiency to report online and analyze reports

Role and Responsibility
-
Supervise and guide Area Sales Managers (FLMs) in the region, driving primary & secondary sales targets, activation & assigned tasks for the region
-
Monitor Rx detailing and other operations by the Sales Officers (SOs)/FLMs to rural HCPs & healthcare providers
-
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with medical practitioners and rural healthcare stakeholders through regular field visits

Ensure targeted brand-wise coverage and penetration
-
Implement & monitor trade activations & schemes
-
Focus on frontline rep training and development of team

Develop and maintain healthy trade relations
-
Undergo brand-focused training and development, guide FLMs/SOs to formulate an effective detailing strategy
-
Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning

Conduct bottom-up sales forecasting & planning
-
Timely processing and forwarding the claims
-
Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of sales & market activities

Maintaining high standards of market hygiene

Monitoring stock holding at distributor level to ensure freshness of stocks

Effectively carry out market survey and/or any other assigned activities in market; tap local rural trends & relay feedback to managers with actionable insights at brand level

Liaison with HQ for any query resolution from FLMs/field SOs

Train & mentor FLMs ensuring holistic growth & development of SOs
