Job Title: Key Account Manager – Professional Lighting
Location/HQ: Ahmedabad
Department: Professional Lighting Sales
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager – Professional Lighting, based in Ahmedabad and Raipur, to drive business growth by managing and expanding relationships with key clients. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans to increase market share, working closely with stakeholders such as Architects, Engineers, Designers, Electrical Contractors, Interior Consultants, and End Users to promote Eveready’s professional lighting solutions.
Knowledge of Indoor Lighting, Outdoor Lighting and Industrial Lighting products (eg. Panel lights, Downlights, Decorative lights, Streetlights, Flood Lights, Highbays, Wellglass, Industrial Battens, Luminaires, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in the professional lighting segment.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned key accounts and projects.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, MEP engineers, designers, and electrical contractors to specify Eveready lighting products in upcoming and ongoing projects.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers and channel partners during the project lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports; maintain CRM data regularly.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and training sessions for stakeholders to drive product adoption and awareness.
- Coordinate internally with product, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B, B2G, Corporate sales in the lighting or electrical industry, preferably with exposure to the professional lighting segment.
- Strong network and relationships with industry influencers such as architects, interior designers, consultants, and contractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
