Job Description:

Embark on a transformative journey as a Software Engineering Lead - VP, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Barclays, Provide strategic advice to Group Executives to support the decision-making process of business challenges and opportunities. You will also manage stakeholder relationships, communicate complex ideas effectively, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful as a Software Engineering Lead - VP, you should have experience with:
- Strong proficiency in Java and AWS cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Agile development, CI/CD automation, and automated testing frameworks.
Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
Demonstrated Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Some of Highly Valued Skills may include:
- Exposure to React or other modern UI frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem Solving and analytical skills to provide though leadership at any technical problem.
