Senior Manager – HR (Compliance & Industrial Relations)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – HR (Compliance & IR) to oversee statutory compliance and industrial relations across five manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance, handle union/labor relations, and implement robust people processes in a dynamic shop-floor environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws and statutory regulations (Factories Act, ESI, PF, CLRA, ID Act, etc.).

  • Handle industrial relations including union negotiations, long-term settlements, and grievance redressal.

  • Manage labor contractors, contract labor documentation, audits, and wage disbursement verification.

  • Coordinate with plant HR teams to standardize compliance practices and disciplinary actions.

  • Represent the company during labor inspections, legal hearings, and audits.

  • Maintain all statutory records, registers, and reports required under applicable laws.

  • Develop SOPs for compliance management, internal audits, and third-party audits.

  • Proactively monitor changes in labor laws and update policies accordingly.

  • Ensure peaceful and productive work environments at all units through proactive IR strategies.


Candidate Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of hands-on HR experience in manufacturing setups, with a strong focus on compliance and industrial relations.

  • Experience in handling multiple plants or large-scale operations across sites.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and IR practices in Haryana and neighboring states.

  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Labor Welfare, or Law (preferred).
