Job Description – Purchase Executive (Mechanical)
Position: Purchase Executive – Mechanical
Location: Pathalganga, Mumbai
Experience: 2–4 Years
CTC: ₹6.50 LPA (approx.)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Purchase Executive (Mechanical) with 2–4 years of experience in procurement of mechanical components, raw materials, and spares. The role involves sourcing, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, and timely delivery of materials to support production and projects at our Pathalganga unit.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

Procure mechanical components, spares, raw materials, tools, and consumables.

Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, and finalize vendors.

Identify alternate suppliers to ensure continuity and cost efficiency.

Vendor Management & Negotiation
-
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
-
Maintain vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.

Support vendor audits and compliance requirements.

Order Processing & Coordination
-
Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt.

Coordinate with stores, quality, and production teams for inspections and approvals.

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, and supplier communications.

Cost & Compliance
-
Support cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Reporting & Documentation
-
Maintain supplier database and procurement MIS reports.

Provide timely updates on material availability and procurement status.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of mechanical components, raw materials, and procurement processes

Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally)

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented, analytical, and cost-conscious
Education:
-
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering

Certification in Materials Management / Supply Chain (preferred)
