Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Head with strong exposure to greenfield projects in High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, managing, plant operations, ensuring world-class manufacturing standards in productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire greenfield plant setup including layout design, equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of HPDC operations.

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

• Establish robust systems and processes for casting operations, quality control, maintenance, and safety.

• Drive process optimization, cycle time reduction, and cost improvement initiatives.

• Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team (Production, Quality, Maintenance, SCM, and EHS).

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement practices.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety norms, and environmental standards.

• Liaise with senior leadership for budget planning, capacity expansion, and strategic decisions.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure operational excellence.

• Establish and nurture a culture of accountability, innovation, and safety across the plant.

• Expertise in casting technology, process engineering, and plant management.

• Excellent knowledge of Lean, TPM, and modern manufacturing practices.

• Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capabilities.

• Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering (or equivalent).

• MBA / PGDM (preferred).
