Manager – Production (HPDC)
Experience: 10–15 Years
Salary: ₹ 25 LPA
Location: Aurangabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead HPDC (High Pressure Die Casting) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, driving process improvements, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage HPDC production operations to achieve daily, monthly, and annual targets.

  • Develop and execute production plans in alignment with business goals and delivery schedules.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

  • Drive process improvements for productivity enhancement, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.

  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols.

  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Planning teams to minimize downtime and defects.

  • Lead and train production teams to build a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM practices on the shop floor.

  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, rejection, yield, downtime) and prepare performance reports.

  • Support new project implementations and process validation activities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge in HPDC process.

  • Proven experience in production planning, manpower management, and process optimization.

  • Hands-on exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.

Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM preferred.
