Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the production operations of our Sheet Metal Press Shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations, production planning, process improvements, manpower management, and ensuring quality and delivery timelines in a high-volume automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all activities of the sheet metal press shop for automotive components.

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer delivery schedules and quality standards.

• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and material resources.

• Drive process improvements, productivity enhancements, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, tool room, and supply chain teams for seamless production flow.

• Maintain adherence to safety, health, and environmental norms.

• Monitor and control production KPIs, downtime, rejection rates, and OEE.

• Mentor and lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.

Candidate Requirements:

• B.E./Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.

• 15–25 years of experience in sheet metal press shop operations, preferably in an automotive or auto component manufacturing environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal forming, progressive and tandem tooling, press machine operations (mechanical/hydraulic), and fixture setups.

• Proven leadership skills and hands-on experience in managing large teams.

• Sound understanding of lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence tools.
