Catia design Engineer -2D, 3D(BMC Job 295)

Draftsman with 1-3 years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Catia for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting. You will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models to support our engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in Catia based on project requirements.
• Interpret and translate engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Maintain documentation and update designs as per changes or revisions.
• Assist in the development of new designs and optimize existing ones.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in drafting and designing using Catia.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
