Deputy Manager – MQC (Manufacturing Quality Control)
Experience: 12–16 Years
Salary: ₹19 LPA
Location: Bawal
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage Manufacturing Quality Control activities to ensure consistent product quality, compliance with customer standards, and zero-defect delivery to OEMs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage MQC operations across production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Monitor and control in-process and final inspection activities.

Ensure implementation and compliance of quality systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.

Develop, review, and approve control plans, work instructions, and inspection methods.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer complaints.

Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, NPD, and Supplier Quality teams for quality improvements.

Drive initiatives to reduce in-house rejections, rework, and customer PPM.

Manage calibration of inspection instruments and ensure traceability.

Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.

Monitor quality KPIs and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for management review.

Ensure training and skill development of MQC inspectors and quality engineers.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of quality tools: 7 QC Tools, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and Problem-Solving Techniques.

Experience in handling OEM customer quality requirements.

Exposure to process audits, layered audits, and internal quality systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems, and quality management software.
Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.

Additional certification in Quality Systems (IATF, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.
