Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts (Plant)
Experience: 10–15 Years
Salary: ₹25 LPA
Location: Aurangabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts professional to oversee plant-level financial operations. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for budgeting, cost control, statutory compliance, MIS reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning to ensure operational and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire Finance & Accounts function at the plant.

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

  • Implement and control costing systems, standard costing, and cost variance analysis.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of MIS reports and financial statements.

  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.).

  • Drive process improvements, internal controls, and automation initiatives.

  • Liaise with corporate finance, operations, and other functional heads for financial planning and strategy.

  • Monitor working capital, cash flows, and support capex planning for plant operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, costing, taxation, and compliance.

  • Hands-on experience in plant finance & cost control.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA (Finance).

  • Additional certifications in costing, taxation, or ERP will be an added advantage.
