Job Purpose:

To manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, support financial planning, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for Bajaj Motor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.

  • Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.

  • Handle statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, etc.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit requirements.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

  • Support ERP/accounting system enhancements and automation initiatives.

  • Supervise junior team members and provide necessary training & guidance.

  • Liaise with banks, vendors, and stakeholders for financial matters.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, and Direct Taxation.

  • Expertise in financial reporting, MIS, and variance analysis.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to lead a small team and coordinate across departments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Education & Qualifications:

  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience.
