Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Assistant Manager – Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC machines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CNC machining centers, turning machines, and their control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC machines at client sites

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machines

• Provide technical support and service documentation to customers

• Plan and execute service schedules and coordinate with customers for timely support

• Train operators and end-users on CNC machine operations and maintenance

• Maintain service logs, reports, and spare parts records

• Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term service relationships

• Coordinate with the internal technical and sales teams for service planning and feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering

• 6–12 years of hands-on experience in servicing CNC machines (Turning, Milling, VMC, HMC, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of CNC controls like Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and CNC programs

• Willingness to travel for field service activities

• Good communication and customer handling skills

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with installation and troubleshooting of imported CNC machines

• Basic understanding of PLCs and machine automation

• Exposure to lean service practices or Kaizen is a plus
